Anyone know what this blue flower is?
Off hand I would call it samoan african violet. The distinct twist
in its attempt to stand up is because it is a traveller that floats
out to islands of africa, going east, and likes to climb cliffs.
this is a very nice blooming 5 times a year indoor plant. You keep the plant in average smaller pot sizes say 6 inches in 4
inches of soil covering the roots that push up, replant when a
year goes by and it pushes up a bit. Keep it deep and it will
bloom often with simple mist sprinkling. It also changes colors.
It goes into peppermint stripe, velvets and white, blue deep,
and some are groomed to show in more colors.
