I have a few drogonfly tattoos. I really want a a large cherry blossom tree with blue flowers I can't decide wether to go for half a sleeve or to go from my waist up my ribs around the back and over my shoulder. If anyone has any Ideas that may help, great let me know.
How can I get help making my tattoo ideas into a tattoo?
Hmmm. I suggest finding a really good artist and having them actually draw it up for you. Once you have a complete idea on what the image will look like, you might be able to decide where you want it to go. I personally like the over the shoulder idea...kind of like they are cascading down your back. But, thats ultimately up to you.
Reply:dont get any real tatto yet.. Why dont u get an temporal tatto with vegetable ink that its reraseble like in a week.. it would be better to decide somehthing that u will wear the rest of ur life.. try to be discret, remember, someday u will be 45, 50 years old-.., nd ur kids will see it... think about it..
Reply:Go to your tattoo artist and tell him your ideas. He is the best person to help you realise your ideas.
Reply:It sounds like a really interesting design. I would definitely speak to your artist and have him/her assist you with the design.
All of my tattoos are custom designed with the help of my artist. Sometimes I just had an idea in my head and sometimes I found a picture that I used as a guideline. I have never regretted any of my artist's suggestions and I hope that your tattoo turns out the way you envision it.
Reply:Tattoo artists were artists first, and then tattoo artists. Well, virtually all of them and anyone you use should be. They know how to draw, and draw well and are able to bring your ideas to life. They've also studied the human form and understand how a body moves and bends and how to make a tattoo fit an area to look its best. Every single one of mine are custom. Nothing off the shelf for me and my guy did it beautifully! Just do your research. Ask to see their portfolios. Check out tattoos you see being done in their shops. Inquire about health procedures. Have fun!
Reply:Depends on how much you can afford to spend on it. If you went from your waist to shoulder(ouch!), it could add up. I think it would look wonderful though! Leave the sleeve for something else.
Reply:Why not talk to the artist that will be doing the tattoo?
