I found a rock in the Mimbres River, New Mexico area yesterday that my rock hound friends and I can't identify. It is rough, hard, and has caramel and silver-blue "flowers" throughout. It reminds me of fossilized coral, though coral does not exist in the area. The area has igneous rocks, mostly. I have photos of the stone, slab, and a rapidly finished cabachon on our Flickr site in public photos. Thank you for your help in identifying this stone.
