What color flowers should my bridemaids have?

My wedding is in April and my bridemaids are wearing a pool blue tea length dress. We are doing a beach theme wedding. Any suggestions on flowers?

Reply:Pink,Yellow and Blue are popular bridal colors for 2008, they all show up great for a Beach Wedding in Florida http://www.sugarbeachweddings.... Report It

Reply:White, yellow, many different blues.
Reply:in generally, white roses is the best option. but you can try white lily mix with rose.
Reply:a nice soft buttercup yellow would look lovely with the blue and would really keep going with the beach theme (yellow = sand or sun)

of course white always looks good, and pink would work as well!
Reply:match them to flowers from your bouquet
Reply:I just had my wedding in June on the beach. My girls wore white and baby blue. I used light blue hydrangeas and pale yellow roses for them - it was absolutely goreous and looked very sophisticated.
Reply:Ask the florist for suggestions. Lavender flowers would be beautiful.
Reply:I like the yellow and white! I saw it on the knot- it was lovely!

Reply:White would be simple and classy.
Reply:I love daisies! White and yellow daisies... simple, elegant, colorful, and beautiful!

Yellow and blue are classics together, especially with white to accent it.

Of course, for a more tropical feel, you could look into dendrobium orchid sprays and pastel Lady Jane "tulip" anthuriums.

theknot.com has a lot of flower ideas too.

Best of luck!
Reply:i had the blue as my main color and my girls had the white as threres
Reply:I think that coral pink flowers would go well with the dresses.
Reply:I got married this past June and had pool dresses and my girls carried white roses with green hydrangeas mixed in. It was gorgeous!
Reply:I was in a friend's wedding and we wore a the same type and color dress. Or bouquets were full of oranges, pinks, and greens. It was a nice contrast when held in fron of the blue dresses.
Reply:I would do white and blue. If you dress is ivory try to use cream or ivory instead of the blue. Maybe put some small yellow flowers in with it. That will offset just the blue and white. It will give it a little more color.

I hope this helps. Congrats on your upcoming marriage.
Reply:How about some nice seaweed blossoms?
Reply:Peach roses would be beautiful, and would pair well with the color of the sand. To pick up on your beach motif, you might want to tie the bouquets with ribbons that match the bridesmaid's dresses, or add a bouquet filler of smaller flowers in blue.

I always dreamt of a beach wedding, but ended up marrying in September :-(
Reply:I would do a water lily, or white orchids.
Reply:White. Think white roses, carnations, calla lilies, Easter lilies, and daisies.
Reply:No color. Use white with matching ribbons.
