My bridesmaids are wearing blue what color should my flowers be?

I will be getting married in the fall. I will be wearing your typical wedding dress. Here is a link to see the dress: http://www.bestbridalprices.com/mori-lee...

The bridesmaids dress will be a blue. I have not decided what kind of dress they will be wearing.

My bridesmaids are wearing blue what color should my flowers be?
My suggestion is this. You are wearing white and the bridesmaids are wearing blue. Why don't you carry a bouquet of a single color roses and then for the girls, blend 2 to 3 different color of flowers. I just got married and my colors was kiwi, lavender, and yellow. I carried a bouquet of assorted yellow flowers and the girls carried a mixture of the colors above. It really brings out the colors and is not just the plain bouquet. Find a color that you like then just do and assortment of that color, they don't have to be the same flower. Do that with the girls too. It will be really pretty. Suggested colors. Pale pink, yellow, white, depending on what color of blue, you could also do red. Congrats.
Reply:For yourself, white. Use silver in the bouquet sparingly..silver cord or small silver ornaments or rhinestones set in silver, or thin silver metal thread. Talk to several florists. Show them the colors of the gowns...yours too...and see what they suggest.

For the bridesmaids...stay with fall colors. Hopefully their gowns are not a pastel blue. There are natural dark blue flowers. They can be arranged with white flowers (carnations will keep your cost down). You can add silver ribbon bows to theirs to tie it in with yours.

Your table flowers can be arranged in silver pots which come in metal or plastic (cheaper)...on blue tablecloths. BUT blues are hard to match. I'd go with orange, yellow, rust and lots of green leaves for the bridesmaids.
Reply:Wow your dress is beautiful.

I was just a bridemaids in my sister-in-laws wedding and our dress were also blue. Our bouquets had white roses and carnations with blue flowers (sorry I don't know the name of them). But here's some pics of the bouquet:

Reply:What shade of blue? I did navy dresses and fuschia flowers(Gerbera Daisies). It turned out GORGEOUS. The fuschia really popped against the navy. You could also possibly do a periwinkle or a melon color. Look at theknot.com for ideas. They have a million. Congratulations and GOOD LUCK! Enjoy your wedding, it goes VERY fast. Oh, and I had a TON of problems and disappointments with our VERY expensive photographer. If there are certain pictures you want, even if you think they should be thought of, make a list and give it to him/her. I thought things like the bride with her parents would be standard, but after I got my proofs, I realized he never took them. I'm devastated about how many photos he DIDN'T get. If I had it to do over, I'd make a LONG, LONG list!
Reply:You don't state what shade of blue so it's hard to give you a definite answer. What I can tell you is that the flowers need to have a strong contrast to the dresses - or they don't show up during the ceremony or in the photos; after spending a lot of $ on flowers, you want them to pop!
Reply:Either you could have white flowers for yourself and blue flowers for them, or you could have white and blue flowers for them and white for yourself or white and blue for you and blue for them. I would do the last one if it were me.
Reply:Wow what a beautiful dress! You not only will stun your groom but also all who attend!

Here's a web site that can help...

You pick from these colors. I vote for pink and white flowers together. It would look pretty. If you chose my colors, you should wear a white or pink dress too..........................
Reply:Blue is THE color of the season for weddings.

You should choose white roses.
