If my wedding colors are royal blue and silver, what color flowers would look good for the bouquets?

Wedding is May 31st, silver dresses for bridesaids, with royal blue accents, Thank you for your advice!

If my wedding colors are royal blue and silver, what color flowers would look good for the bouquets?
I know quite a few answers say yellow, but I think I would avoid yellow altogether, try to stay in the cool color palette, since your colors are cool. I think an all white bouquet will get washed out against the silver, and I think red would be bold but too bold for the color scheme.

Reply:i would say a mix of blue and yellow roses or whatever flower for that matter
Reply:I had dark navy and silver as my colors...and I used a big red boquet. I was torn, though, between the red roses I used, calla lillies, and also white peonies/carnations/roses.
Reply:Hi and congratulations!

For silver dresses, I really LOVE the contrast of purple, or shades of purple flowers. It is really a nice contrast. I wouldn't go with anything white, or pale colors....that will look washed out. Here are some pictures of bouquets:

You should go and meet with a florist if you have not done so already. Look through their books of previous weddings. They will be able to give you suggestions and to work with your budget! That is their business!

Good luck!
Reply:Blue if you can find them. Hydrangeas and such.

or red roses would be spectacular!
Reply:I would do a rich color like a deep pink or sunny yellow and then combine it with white
Reply:Go with lavender and purple color flowers like sterling roses, hydrangea, or calla lillies.
Reply:What about bluebells?
Reply:White. or Red to offset the blue/white combo.
Reply:White would go well with the silver.
Reply:I would see what you can get in blue, natural not dyed! I would put them in a bed of white flowers. Or, being a spring wedding, you could get a spring mixture of colors. Depending on if you are formal or casual. Or, if you could get a single blue flower for your girls, that would be pretty too!
Reply:I think that white would be perfect with blue and silver. You could accent it with blue ribbon or silver ribbon. Maybe white roses or white carnations.

Or to be totally off beat, yellow rosebuds with blue ribbons would be pretty.
Reply:You can always go with white, it always looks crisp, clean, and classic, especially with your color combination.

some blue flowers you can use that are lovely are delphinium and iris, though iris has some yellow to it so if you dont want that those may not be a good choice.

You can also order blue roses (they are dyed, there are no true blue roses) but they are stunning, unique, and definitely make a statement.

Hope this helps, you could just chose white, or use white roses accented with delphinium or blue roses, or all blue, or all white for you and all blue for your bridesmaids (a mix of irises, delphinium, and blue roses would be lovely) etc. You could do a million combos so just htink about what look you are going for. Good luck!
Reply:Here is another image for a blue bouquet. To bring out the silver you can always wrap silver ribbon around the handle and let it hang down a bit.

Reply:My first thought on this was something bold like red or hot pink, but the more I think about it, maybe you should go in the opposite direction. On the color wheel, yellow is opposite of blue. How about a bright yellow or a softer yellow?
Reply:White would look good
