I got married 3 years ago come august and had a similar dilemna since the dresses were a tiffany's/robins egg blue color. We used a mixed bouquet that had alot of white with a few purple and orange flowers thrown in for color. It really 'popped' in front of the dresses. I also ordered some ribbon in the dress color and wrapped all the ends of the bouquets in it. Good luck.
Reply:Congratulations winonacurlz! Are you opposed to using some "silk" mixed in with "fresh"? I worked in the floral industry for five+years, and to be quite honest with you...I would suggest you go with your "instinct". It's "your special" day! If however, you need some guidance..."White Lil lies", "Queen-Ann's Lace", (Bachelor Buttons...to let him know he's taken...j/k LOL!) and some "White Alstromerium". You could then "accent" your bouquet with "blue" ribbon loops and/or streamers cascading downwards from your bouquet. Since your wedding is in August, you might consider just a simple "hand-held" bouquet of "White Gladiolas" or "Orchids"? God Bless you on your special day! OXXO Moonchild
Reply:I think Bird of Paradise would be stunning, orchids come in every variety but are pricey. I had some Lobster-claw Heliconia as center pieces, and still hear their praises. They also last months, mine stayed perfect for over a year! hydgrangia are great to make pom-poms with for bouquets
Reply:Go with any type of flower that is white. Any other color will clash with the teal/sky blue color.
Reply:White and mauve, maybe some light yellow.
Reply:soft yellow, violet, pale peach, or white.

hope this helps. :)
Reply:white roses or lilys
