Reply:Shirt waist dresser are really "classic"! No, you will not look dowdy! The color might make you seem a little young. If that is a problem, do not wear white or pastel accessories. Try it with navy or dark blue sandals/shoes. This style looks good with a shoulder bag.... just do not get one that is too large.
